Your love story isn't a timeline.
It's tempting to begin with they met, they dated, they fell in love, someone proposed—but those facts rarely tell us why two people belong together.
We're looking for something deeper.
Maybe it's a theme that keeps appearing throughout your relationship. A seemingly insignificant story that reveals something much bigger. A hilarious detail we'll introduce early and bring back when no one expects it. A challenge that changed you. Or something one of you told us separately that makes the other suddenly understand a moment in an entirely new way.
We take everything we've learned and find the story underneath the story.
Then we shape it—with humor, tenderness, callbacks, surprise, and emotional turns—into something that doesn't simply recount your relationship.
It reveals it.
Words matter enormously to us.
But a ceremony is more than words.
We think about what will happen in the room: what your guests will see, when they'll laugh, when the energy should shift, when everyone should grow quiet, and when a moment needs space to simply exist.
That's where the two of us bring very different creative instincts to the same ceremony.
Sam sees the scene.
With a background in film, he approaches ceremonies visually and experientially. He thinks about movement, transitions, people, objects, and how an idea can become a moment. He's often the one asking, What if we did this instead?
Sometimes that becomes a completely original unity ritual. Sometimes it's an unexpected way to include your children, your family, a cultural tradition—or even your dog. Sometimes it's a small visual detail that suddenly carries enormous meaning.
Tracy brings the story to life.
Her background in liturgical and worship design taught her how story, ritual, movement, silence, and language work together to create meaning. As a storyteller and officiant, she knows that what's written on the page is only the beginning.
She reads the room. She knows when to pause and let the laughter come. When to soften her voice. When an emotional moment needs another second before moving forward. And when the most powerful thing an officiant can do is become almost invisible and let the moment belong entirely to the two people standing before her.
Sam helps create the scene. Tracy brings it to life.
Your guests aren't an audience we've forgotten about.
They're part of the reason this moment matters.
These are the people who knew you before there was an us. The people who watched your relationship begin, welcomed someone new into the family, celebrated with you, supported you, and traveled across town—or across the country—to witness what happens next.
So we don't simply tell your story in front of them.
We bring them into it.
We give them reasons to recognize you, laugh with you, remember with you, and occasionally learn something about your relationship they never knew before.
Our goal isn't polite attention.
It's the kind of ceremony where guests are locked in—where they forget they're waiting for cocktail hour because something meaningful, funny, surprising, and completely human is happening right in front of them.
They aren't simply watching your ceremony.
They're experiencing it with you.
Beautiful weddings rarely happen exactly according to schedule.
A rehearsal starts late. Weather changes the plan. Someone gets stuck in traffic. The photographer needs five more minutes. A member of the wedding party suddenly isn't sure where to stand. Someone forgot something important. Someone else is having a moment.
None of that should become yours to manage.
We intentionally reserve our wedding weekends differently so we're able to arrive prepared, present, and flexible—not watching the clock because another couple is waiting for us across town.
It isn't exclusivity for the sake of exclusivity.
Presence requires margin.
It's the freedom to answer the phone. To solve the problem. To adjust the plan. To give the rehearsal the time it needs. To coordinate with your wedding team. To remain calm when something unexpected happens.
And when it's finally time for your ceremony, we're not arriving as strangers with a script.
We already know you.
This is the part all of the preparation is for.
By the time you stand together on your wedding day, we've asked the questions. Found the stories. Written and refined the ceremony. Helped with your vows. Thought through the transitions. Coordinated the details. Rehearsed the people. Anticipated what we can.
You don't need to think about any of it anymore.
You get to hear your own story differently.
You get to discover what your partner chose to promise you.
You get to hear the people you love laugh because they know exactly what we're talking about.
You get to notice the quiet.
You get to look at the person standing across from you and realize that after all the planning, all the decisions, all the details, this is why everyone gathered in the first place.
Because we believe your ceremony isn't something to get through before the celebration begins.
It is the reason for it.
And it deserves to feel unmistakably, extraordinarily yours.
The Luxury of Our Undivided Attention
We intentionally accept just one wedding each weekend so we can give you our full presence. If the rehearsal runs long, the timeline shifts, or the unexpected happens, we're there—calm, and prepared, It means we arrive ready to be completely present for this moment with you.
You get to notice the quiet.
