Tracy Schottenstein

Officiant & Storyteller

Tracy earned a master's degree in Biblical studies and was ordained in 2010. After serving in Christian ministry for 14 years, she left the church to celebrate life with others. Over the years, she focused on mission work addressing food and housing insecurity. She has served as a board member for various organizations addressing mental health, poverty, education, anti-racism and LGBTQIA+ inclusion. She loves the Cincinnati Reds and anything that sparkles.

Samuel Schottenstein

Vision Strategist & Creative Design Lead

Sam worked in education for more than 20 years as an educational consultant and professor/teacher. Sam has served on various foundation boards throughout Southwest Ohio focused on creating a better world through philanthropic work with children and families. Sam loves using his creativity to design unique unity ceremonies for couples. Sam loves hot dogs and popcorn, especially while watching the Cincinnati reds play.

Pawject Leader

Every great team needs a mascot, and at Linden Grove Occasions, that role belongs to Mo Mo, our Pawject Leader.

Mo Mo is always by our side ready to help however she can. She takes her leadership role very seriously and is known for her or paws-on approach. Her work is fueled entirely by love, loyalty, and an unwavering commitment to nap time.

Linden Grove Occasions was born from a simple belief:

We’ve seen ceremonies that felt stiff, rushed, or generic. We wanted something different for our couples:

What We Believe About Wedding Ceremonies

We believe:

The ceremony is the heart of the day, not the gateway to the party.
Your story deserves to be told with care, respect, and joy.
Families (biological, blended, chosen) matter and they deserve to feel seen.
Love shows up in many forms, and our favorite kind is yours.

How We Work With You

We want the ceremony to feel natural, not like a performance. Our process keeps things thoughtful and simple:

Connection - We get to know you as people, not just as “the couple at 4 PM on Saturday.”
Story - We ask good questions and listen for details that make your story feel real and specific.
Collaboration - You’ll see multiple drafts of your ceremony and have space to revise, add, or remove anything.
Presence - On your wedding day, we bring warmth, calm, and clear direction so everyone knows what’s happening, and you can just soak it in.
